what should I do if…
If the appliance does not work properly, this does not always mean that it is defective.
Try to deal with the problem yourself first. Phone the service department if the advice
given below does not help.

The appliance does not work
and the lights are not on.

appliance.

solution
Check the electrical
installation (main fuse(s),
connection).
Check the installation.
Operation error or clean glass
top.
The fan switches itself off.
Allow the appliance to cool
down. Press the on/off button
and the indication will
disappear. Start again at a
lower setting.
Use a suitable pan (see
page 9).
Keep the button with the key
symbol pressed for a few
seconds.
Use a pan with a diameter
approximately the same as
the cooking zone.
Clean the appliance or have it
repaired. Do not place objects
on the control panel.
