Recorder functions

To record video:

1. Tap the Mode button to shift to

Recorder mode.

Notice that the

(Playback) button

becomes

(Recorder) button, the

rotate button becomes

(Record)

button, and the camera status
indicator shows “CAMERA ON”.

2. Focus the camera lens (located at

the back of the device) to your
subject.

3. Tap the

(Record) button to start

recording your video.

4. Tap the

(Stop) button to end your

recording.

If the lighting is not enough, tap Flash on
the command bar to turn on the camera
flash. The “Flash On” message briefly
appears on the status bar.

Flash options:

Flash Off - no flash

Flash On - flash is always on

NOTE

Return to playback mode to play your recorded video. See
section “Playback mode” on page 4-3 on how to play the
video.
