Password
By default, the ENC 1202’s password is “password”. To avoid tampering by unauthorized
users, we recommend specifying a different password. Be sure to write it down some-
where in case you forget it.
In scenarios where speed is of the essence, you may want to skip the password stage for
logging into the unit. In that case, delete all dots from the “Password” field. This clears the
password. As a result, the [Login] (and [Logout]) button is no longer displayed in the Func-
tion bar.
Note:
• If you forgot the password, you can reset the ENC 1202 using Dante Controller: double-click the
ENC 1202’s name in the “Network View” window (to open the “Device View”), click [Device Con-
fig] and [Clear Config] to reset the ENC 1202. You also need to reboot it. Note that resetting the
ENC 1202 causes it to load the factory default settings.
Persist Dante Settings
Set “Persist Dante Settings” to “OFF” if you want the ENC 1202 to automatically save edits
made via Dante (using Dante Controller, for instance). Such changes will overwrite the
internal configuration and are recalled when you reboot the unit.
Select “ON” if the ENC 1202 should only use changes made from remote location until it is
rebooted. At that time, the settings of the internal configuration are recalled.
Power Supply 1/Power Supply 2
“Power Supply 1” and “Power Supply 2” display the current status of the two power sup-
plies:
OK
The status is OK—this power supply powers the ENC 1202.
FAULT
This power supply is either not connected to a wall outlet or faulty.
