APM Control Sub-Menu
Cx States
Enables activation of the energy savings states of the CPU after the OS
is inactive for a certain length of time. APM (not ACPI). Default Disabled.
Video Repost
Controls the call of the function Video Repost of the BIOS VGA during a
reset from a state of "Suspend to RAM" in the OS APM (not ACPI).
Default Disabled.

The synthesizer that provides the “Spread Spectrum” is set to the mode
"Program (programmable)
Spread Spectrum Mode: Default Off
The Spread Spectrum is disabled (Off)
Security
Set Supervisor Password
This password controls access to the setup.
Set User Password
Lets you set the user password.
Password on boot
If enabled, the password will be requested prior to the bootstrap.
Fixed disk boot sector
Lets you protect the boot sectors of the hard disk from possible viruses.
Diskette access
Specifies the password required to access the floppy disk unit.
