When the system is powered on, the BIOS starts running, during this phase the BIOS Setup or the boot menu can be accessed following the
instructions described in the paragraph 4.3.
If it is not pressed any key, after a while the O.S. is automatically loaded.

4.1
Operating systems
BM1xx supports Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Enterprise.

Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 1809 LTSC 64-bit
4.1.1.1
Languages
ASEM Window 10 IoT Enterprise 1809 LTSC 64bit image has the following languages pre-installed: English, French, German, Italian, Brazilian
Portuguese, Simplified Chinese. Additional languages can be installed online or offline.

UWF
UWF (Universal Write Filter) feature has to be turned on, if needed. From Control Panel

Device Lockdown, check Unified Write Filter box.

Windows Updates
Windows Updates are disabled by default, can be enabled if required.
Enabling or disabling Windows 10 IOT Enterprise Updates, by editing the Group Policies
From an Administrator account, open the Group Policies Editor, press the

keys to open the Run dialog, then type
gpedit.msc

Enabling or disabling Windows 10 IOT Enterprise Updates, by using the Registry Editor
From an Administrator account, open the registry editor,

Go to: KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU
Create a
NoAutoUpdate
DWORD, giving it a value of 1 for disabling and 0 for enabling.

Disk Cloning Tools
Please note that the OS has been installed in UEFI mode. Disk cloning software compatible with legacy boot installations only (for example,
Symantec Ghost) cannot be used.

The systems are featuring Ubiquity Runtime preloaded and preconfigured. The Ubiquity Getting Started guide is available for download from
the company web site.
