Locking Brakes
WARNING!
Do not use the locking brakes when the mount does not have proper weight balance. The
maximum disbalance is 50kg. Otherwise the locking brake might be damaged.
Always make sure that both brakes are released when you start operation. Otherwise the mount
cannot move and the software will report a position tracking error.
For Setup or maintenance purposes you can fix the RA and DE axis with the locking brakes. Therefor push rotate
and release the knob to lock or release the brake. The bolt of the locking brake slides into one of the holes of
the stationary part of the mount. Those holes are spread with a distance angle of 45°.

The locking brake for the DE axis works the same way. Here you can actually see the holes where the braking
bolt slides in to. There are 16 holes

so you can lock the position each 22.5°.
