12.3.4 Confi guring zones.
Step 1: Select a Zone
Step 2: Change the name of the zone
Step 3: Confi gure the maximum volume for this zone
Step 4: There is an option to block out the volume.
This means that the volume is preset to the maximum
volume selected. This is done, for example, when an
additional amplifi er is used which controls the volume on
the amplifi er itself.
Step 5: Regulate the high and low tones in this zone.
12.3.5 Confi guration of external devices.
Step 1: Select External devices (Externe toestellen) in the
Settings (Instellingen) menu. You can change the name
of the device, for example, i-Pod docking.
Step 2: Using the right-hand mouse button, click on one
of the keys to which you want to assign the IR function.
Step 3: Select a function (e.g. Previous - vorige) from the
list. The symbol will appear on the key in question.
Step 4: Press on Self-learning (aanleren) and then hold
down the button on the original remote control of your
device. Direct this towards the right-hand side of the
display on the Art54/88Hold the original remote control
about 2cm away from the window. Hold down the key
until you hear an audible signal. (See also section 11).
Step 5: Value “3” can best be entered in Repeat: this is
the number of times that the code is transmitted.
Step 6: Test. The self-learned code is transmitted via IR-
P1 (infra-red port 1)
