DEALER SETUP REMINDERS
If the spreader is delivered with running gear assembled (towed) and has the floatation tire option
installed please take note of the tread direction. Floatation tires may be installed with “forward
pointing” tread direction to decrease floatation properties when in transit to distant destinations.
Tires should be installed with “backward pointing” tread direction before unit is delivered to end-
user to increase floatation performance in field.

APRON TENSION ADJUSTMENT GUIDLINES
BE SURE TO KEEP PROPER TENSION ON APRON CHAINS.
The (2) Apron Chain tightener
bolts are located in the front of the unit at each side of Apron Shaft. They should be adjusted evenly
to help keep proper chain alignment.
If Apron Chain is loose, remove one length from each side of Apron Chain assembly and readjust
to tension as shown above.

Over tightening can cause premature failure of the chain and drive components.
