MADE.
1. Verify the “apron reverse speed” knob on the manifold is turned all the way to the “-”/clockwise
position to prevent the Apron Chain from being ran in the reverse direction accidentally.
CAUTION:
CAUTION: Never attempt to run the Apron Chain in reverse with a full load, as this could cause
damage to chain or drives. The “apron reverse speed” knob should be locked in the “-”/clockwise
position unless there is a need to clear the Beaters and should be returned to the “-”/clockwise
position as soon as Beaters are cleared.
2. With the vehicle stopped and engine throttled down, slowly engage the PTO to start spinning
the Beaters.
3. Raise the Slop Gate to desired height for your preferred spreading density using hydraulic
control connected to the “GREEN” hose ends.
NOTE: Slop Gate height can be adjusted to vary the spreading density.
4. Engage the Apron Chain, in the forward direction, using the hydraulic control connected to the
“BLACK” hose ends. NEVER engage Apron Chain with Slop Gate in the fully closed position.
NEVER engage Apron Chain with Slop Gate in the fully closed position.
NOTE: “Apron forward speed” knob can be adjusted to change the speed of the Apron Chain to
help control flow of material to Beaters. (Counter-Clockwise=FASTER, Clockwise=SLOWER)
5. Once material starts to contact the Beaters, start tractor in motion and set to the speed that
allows for preferred spreading density.
6. After all the material is spread, turn off the Apron Chain, close the Slop Gate, and shut down
the PTO/Beaters.
