MANURE SPREADER SAFETY
FAILURE TO HEED MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY
OR DEATH THERE ARE ADDITIONAL HAZARDS ASSOCIATED WITH THE
SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE OF YOUR SPREADER.
FOR YOUR SAFETY:
• INSPECT
when first delivered and regularly thereafter; that all connections and bolts are tight
and secure before operating.
• RETIGHTEN ALL WHEEL BOLTS
after the first hour of towing. Check periodically
thereafter. See [PG. 24] for proper torque values.
• MAINTAIN PROPER TIRE AIR PRESSURE
at all times. Refer to tire manufacturer for
proper pressure.
• ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION
when operating or servicing spreader
• BE SURE ALL MOVEMENT HAS STOPPED
and that the PTO is disconnected and the
tractor is shut off before servicing the spreader or components.
• ESCAPING HYDRAULIC FLUID UNDER PRESSURE
can penetrate skin and cause
serious injury. Relieve all pressure from the hydraulic system before connecting or disconnecting
the lines or making repairs. Check all hoses and fittings before start-up and periodically during
operations.
• NEVER MAKE ANY ALTERATIONS
or modification to this equipment.
