EMC Relevant Information
1. The
EJ-MLA26
Series needs special precautions regarding EMC and needs to be installed and put
into service according to the following EMC information.
2. The portable and mobile RF communications equipment can affect the
EJ-MLA26
Series.
3. WARNING: The
EJ-MLA26
Series should not be used adjacent to or stacked with other equipment.
If adjacent or stacked use is necessary, the
EJ-MLA26
Series should be observed to verify normal
operation in the configuration in which it will be used.
4. DVI-D and SDI connectors are sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). It is recommended to
maintain humidity levels in the room, provide conductive flooring in order to prevent damage due to
ESD. Operators shall be trained in basics of electrostatic charge, its effects on electronic components
and explanation on prevention methods such as usage of wrist straps and discharge one’s body to
ground before touching the connectors.
5. It is recommended to use standard signal and interface cables with a maximum length of 5 meters
(16.4 feet) except for the SDI cable [Max 30 meters (98.4 feet)] in order to avoid Radio Frequency
interference with other equipment and susceptibility to other external Electromagnetic
Disturbances. (See table of Cable list)
