• Open the connector locks with a pair of tweezers and
disconnect the cables

• Take the viewfinder top off.
• Open the 2 screws of the beam splitter
§

• Take the beam splitter out of the camera. An adhesive
tape on the top side of the beam splitter can be used
to take it off. The side, which is marked with R = 80 or
R = 50
§
can be used for this.
• Put the new beam splitter into the camera.
The alignment of the beam splitter is not critical.
A visual check in the viewfinder is sufficient.
• Close the two screws on the beam splitter
§

• Connect the two cables between the viewfinder top
and the base plate again
§

• Close the 3 mounting screws
§
.
• Close the 7 mounting screws
§
.
• Place the viewfinder system back to the camera.
