FUSES (Old control box prior to 2003)

The control box contains two fuses, one 2A and one 3.15A (earlier controls used different values). Fuse
ONE protects the control from the supply. Fuse two protects the supply from the re-chargeable batteries to
reduce pitch. If the control box is to be mounted where it can not easily be accessed then the fuse holders
may be de-mounted and the holders replaced by panel mount versions. The fuses may be replaced by
breakers if required but we recommend fuses because they cause less voltage drop and are more
reliable.

Mount the display in the panel – the displays currently require a 28 x 66.5 mm cut out. Its better to wait for
your propeller and measure the actual display in case new types are being used.

New Controller (introduced early 2003)

The new control box measure approximately 50 x 76 x 27 mm. The rechargeable batteries are replaced
with an inverter and the relays with electronics. The box now contains one fuse and so should be mounted
where is can be accessed to replace the fuse. The fuse may be remotely mounted on the panel.
