2.5 Operation
2.5.1 Procedure of actions of the service personnel when using the product
To maintain the IPN-8U, an administrator and a duty engineer are required, whose
functions can be distributed or combined in accordance with the organizational structure
of the enterprise.
Detailed responsibilities of officials when using IPN-8U are given in the document
“Decentralized loudspeaker system IPN1.1. User Manual". RMLT. 465300. 001UM.
2.5.2 Configuration
After the power is successfully turned on and the device is loaded, you can configure
the connections of IPN-8U. To do this, you can use the administration software of IPN1.1
system, please, refer to “Decentralized loudspeaker system IPN1.1. User Manual. Part 2.
Administrator Manual” RMLT.465300.001UM1. To identify the device, you need to use the
record of IP address installed during the preparation.
2.5.3 Functions of the product
In the operation mode IPN-8U module performs the following functions:

provides connections between subscribers according to configuration data;
−
makes initialization and monitor operation of connected subscriber units
and communication lines.
2.5.4 Monitoring of the product operation
Possible states of IPN-8U indicators depending on the operation mode are given in
Table 3.
