Service interval
Sweeping the convection section
At intervals of 4 – 6 months. The spirals must
be removed from the convection section before
sweeping.
Sweeping the hearth
Once a year.
Removing ash from the hearth
After 2 – 3 tonnes of pellets.
Removing ash under the convection section
After approx. 3 tonnes of pellets.
Visual inspection of the boiler
Inspection: Once a month (pipe connections).
Test the safety valves
Twice a year.
The seals and hatch sealing
(change if necessary)
Inspection: Once a month.
Removal of ash from burner
At the same time as the ash is removed from the
hearth.
*) Use of a fuel rich in ash naturally increases the quantity of ash and thereby shortens the serv-
ice interval.
Service intervals
The service intervals given are guide values and can vary considerably depending on the wood
pellet quality used and the load.
Check the boiler more frequently at the start, so you can determine the length of the service
interval. If the quality of the fuel varies, the service interval must be determined again. During
the winter, there is a great need for heating and so the service interval may be shorter than in the
summer.
