After reversing the adjustment screw a few turns, the rubber cab of pressure sensor
must be pushed in with a piece of metal according to next picture.
Warning: Do not push too hard, otherwise the sensor can be broken!
5.
Turn on pump in Setup Mode (3.1).
6.
Select address 18
Internal stop flow set 18 = 15, Robson set 18 = 115, press Menu and check if
actuator makes a full turn (with set/R
obson inserted) and doesn’t crash when
reaches the stroke end position. Increase or decrease parameter 18 for optimum
setting (14 - 18 resp. 114
– 118)
Check Stop flow position. Stop flow must be open during next calibrations.
7.
Check if there is no IV set in the pump.
Close the door. Select address 17, value in LED should be below 200, else adjust /
replace P Sensor. Press
Menu
key to automatically programme offset. Address
jumps to address 16.
8.
Check Stop flow position. Stop flow must be open for the next calibration.
Insert new IV set filled with water and connected to manometer. Adjust Pressure
sensor mechanically with hex screw (see section 3) until value in LED is minimum
of 400. Note: First time rather aim for 500 as the value tends to decrease after the
testing. Important: Always tighten screw for final adjustment. Press
Menu
key to
automatically programme offset.
9.
Select address 15. Check pressure on manometer = 0 (otherwise reduce it with the
connected syringe). Check pressure on LED = 0 (otherwise press Menu). Press
Start
key to increase pressure to 500 mbar. Press
Menu
key to automatically
programme pressure gain. Check if LED displays between 450 and 550 and LCD
(gain) is between 300 and 700. Note: If pump is in mmHg: Increase to 375 mmHg
(500 mbar) and value in LED should be between 340
– 420 mmHg.
If
upstream occlusion pressure sensor isn’t installed on the pump, go to 7.3
LITE pumps: Press and hold bolus key to see value displayed in LCD window.
