PITOT/STATIC SYSTEM - DESCRIPTION

A. The static and Pitot pressure system supplies Pitot and static pressure for the airspeed indicator,
the altimeter and the vertical speed indicator, as well as the AHRS-sensor of the FLYMAP-system
and the airspeed sensor of the KAPI data logger, if installed (both are optional).

A. Pitot-Static Tube and Lines
The Pitot and static pressures are picked up by the Pitot-static tube, installed on the underside of
the left wing, and carried through lines inside the wing and fuselage to the gauges on the
instrument panel.
Both the pitot- and the static pressure lines have filter elements to prevent foreign matters such as
dust or water from entering the flight instruments. The filter elements located in the line close the
instruments may be easily replaced.
