Low salt alarm
Possible causes
Corrective actions
Low salt rate in the water (not enough salt added
initially, heavy rain, leak in the pool)
Test the salinity. Add some more salt as indicated above.
Wrong calibration of the salinity controller.
Proceed with the calibration.
The salinity controller cannot be calibrated.
Replace the salinity controller.
Short circuit alarm

Corrective actions
The power cable of the cell is not correctly connected
Check the cable connections on the cell and the unit.
Cell clogged by debris.
Remove the cell for inspection.
Refer to the cell cleaning procedure.
Defective cell.
Contact your retailer.
Defective elecronic card.
Contact your retailer.
Low temperature alarm
Possible causes
Corrective actions
Water temperature is too low (<15°C).
Winter your swimming pool.
The temperature sensor is disconnected
(The system idicates a temperature of 75°C)
Connect the temperature sensor.
The temperatre displayed is not the actual water
temperature.
Calibrate the sensor.
The sensor cannot be calibrated.
Replace the sensor.
Lack of water alarm
Possible causes
Corrective actions
There is no water in the cell/
Check the by-pass valves’ position.
Presence of air or gas in the cell
Drain the cirucit and modify the position of the cell on the
installation if necessary. (see fugures 6.1.1 and 6.1.2)
Defective salinity detector
Replace the salinity detector.
Open circuit alarm

Corrective actions
The cell’s power cable is wrongly connected.
Redo the connections.
Damaged power cable.
Scale formation
Replace the cable.
Clean the cell with vinegar
