10 MAINTENANCE AND DIAGNOSTIC
Aquamonitor offers you the possibility to perform diagnostic and maintenance actions on your Smartlog.
10.1 TIME SETTING
Your Smartlog absolutely must be updated for proper operation. The time setting absolutely must be performed after each update of the Smartlog or
when a new configuration is sent.
To do this, click "Configure logger", the set-up wizard will then open. If you do not want to change your configuration, click “Next” until you see
the general settings screen. It then allows you to synchronize your Smartlog’s clock with your computer’s clock.

*A lag of a few seconds is quite normal even
immediately after setting the time.
While setting the time on your Smartlog, an information message is displayed, wait for the end of the operation to continue. If that fails, click "Stop
logger" then rerun the Smartlog time setting before finishing by clicking "Restart logger”.
During the operation, the time is set automatically by the Smartlog. To do this, it sends a time setting SMS every Sunday at 4:00am for set-ups
without GPRS, when the GPRS is configured, it performs an automatic time setting during each daily call using an NTP service, in the event of failure
it performs an automatic time setting by SMS. Local time (with summer/winter daylight saving) is obtained from the GMT for metropolitan France.
