5.1.2
Quarterly maintenance
•
Visually inspect the supply unit.
•
Check the inoculation valve, pump hose and hose connections to ensure they are
not leaking
Clean the inoculation valve to remove deposits
•
Visually inspect the electrodes for contamination; clean if required.
•
Check the water values, adjust the settings if required.
•
Calibrate and check the pH and Redox electrodes using the supplied buffer
solutions.
5.1.3
Annual maintenance
•
Visually inspect the supply unit.
•
Check the injection valves, pump hose and hose connections for leaks.
•
Check the water values, adjust the settings if required.
•
Calibration and check of the pH and Redox electrodes using the supplied buffer
solutions
•
Replace the hoses of the dosing pumps.
5.2
Electrodes
The electrodes must be replaced annually, earlier if worn. To do this, only use original
electrodes. These can be obtained from your specialist pool dealer.
5.2.1
Electrode wear
The measuring probes are subject to natural ageing even when handled correctly.
Depending on usage, a lifetime of between six months and three years can be expected.
Note: Measuring probes are consumables!
Caution: Electrodes can be stored only for a limited time. Storage for more than three
months is not recommended.
Among other things, the following indicators might suggest the electrodes are worn:
•
The electrode requires an extremely long time to attain the value of the buffer
solution when calibrating.
•
The electrode offset during the calibration process is too large.
•
The KCL solution in the electrode shaft is used or discoloured.
Note: Electrodes wear very quickly if there is electrical potential in the pool
water!
Glass breaks are excluded from the guarantee.
