SYSTEM START-UP
3.
When you power up the equipment, the displais show in
succession: the
FIRMWARE release NUMBER
and the
System
NAME
, then blink for few istants. When the displais
switch off, is possible to operate.
Before you start the barrier, CHECK that the settings of
1 -
the following parameters match the type of installation
(
see the section Programming
):

•
speed
•
nota: when you power up the equipment for the fi rst time, the
system uses the default settings (see the DEFAULT table). To
change the operating parameters, see the instructions in the
sections “Programming” and “Operating logic”.
Press START. If one of the limit switches is triggered the
2 -
operating cycle will start according to the logic settings. If
a limit switch is not triggered, the barrier will open slowly
up until the end of the closing stroke and will then start
to operate according to the logic settings.
The ammeter reversing function is not active close to
the approach to the opening and closing strokes after
the electro-mechanical limit switch is triggered. If the
beam encounters an obstacle, it stops and waits for a
command.
Automatic logic
3.1
(default logic) (

.)
The complete operating cycle is a follows:
9
START
with the barrier closed:
Ö
the beam opens up to the mechanical stop
Ö
the beam stays open for the preset PAUSE TIME
Ö
at the end of the pause time, the beam starts to close.
Response to commands and signals during the automatic
operating cycle:
9
STOP
Ö
stops the barrier
9
START
- during opening stroke
Ö
is ignored
- during the closing stroke
Ö
starts an opening stroke
- during the pause time
Ö
restarts the pause time from 0 and
at the end of the full pause time closes the rod.
9
Closing safety photocell
- during the closing stroke
Ö
starts an opening stroke
- during the opening stroke
Ö
is ignored
- during the pause time
Ö
the beam remains open until the
photocell is uncovered
9
Obstacle
detection
- detected on the closing stroke
Ö
opens the barrier
- detected during the opening stroke
Ö
starts a short reversing
stroke and then stops awaiting a command.
