The
PTR-24
control unit has been designed for controlling
PATROL
automatic barriers produced by
Aprimatic
.
Warning

Only use the product for the permitted uses specified.
Do not use the product for purposes other than those
specifi ed.
You should note the operating restrictions specifi ed in the
installation manual supplied with the operator.
Do not tamper with or modify the product.
The product must only be installed using APRIMATIC
material.

Technical features

Electronic microprocessor control unit for operating one 24
V DC motor with a maximum power rating of 200 Watt.
- Built-in radio receiver with antenna, with memory for 100
remote controls.
- Electro-mechanical limit switch which does not require
adjustment.
- Adjustable safety pre-slowing function on approach to
opening and closing limit switches
(see example in fi gure).
- Ammeter function for detecting mechanical stops on
opening and closing strokes after limit stops trigger; function
does not require adjustment.
- Safety slowing function on approach to stops (
drop down
from maximum speed to reduced speed
); no adjustment
required.
- Settable operating logic and parameters.
All adjustments
are digital (see the Programming section)

- Adjustable anti-crush safety function. This detects obstacles
and responds according to the logic settings (e.g. automatic
reversing, stop, ...).
- Electronic speed adjustment.
- Cycle counter function to facilitate scheduling of
maintenance.
- Suitable for fitting remote control devices including:
DEC/A (tag decoder and keypad); PL-ECO receiver;
Unico receiver as alternative to built-in receiver.
- Suitable for controlling two counteropposed barriers in
the master-slave mode. The master unit controls the slave
equipment via an accessory card and a communications
protocol.
- Pedestrian opening option; this operates one beam only
of a twin barrier.
- Programming data saved in

ash memory.
- Data saved in EEPROM memory in the event of mains
power or battery failure. Data saved includes: beam position;
direction of travel; barrier status (open or closed).
- Closing photocell operational check before each movement
(with the exception of ER-REF/re
fl
ex photocell type).
