Apeks recommends either 4,000 hours or once a year, whichever comes first, for this 
replacement / maintenance.  All other 4,000 interval maintenance items can be 
cleaned / serviced and do not need replaced unless broken or faulty. 

 
Maintenance on the system is critical to proper operation.  Failure to follow these maintenance items 
can cause premature system failure and void the warranty.  The maintenance items below pertain to 
the CO

2

 

system only.  Follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance plan for the 

chiller/heater unit.  

The chiller has a cabinet filter that will need blown out with compressed air 

periodically. 

We include a small squeeze bottle to help with proper maintenance and cleaning of 

your systems C02 lines. We recommend alcohol to clean the lines.
