Using Disk Mounter 

 

How  do  I  mount  additional  hard  disks  once  the  DVR 
application has been installed?

 

 
To mount or unmount additional hard disks for DVR storage, follow these steps: 
 
1. 

Double-click the DISK MOUNTER icon on Desktop. 

 

 

2.  Enter  root  password.  Click  YES  for  backup  file  message  confirmation.  The  filesystem  table 

(fstab) editor window will be shown. This contains information on all the partitions and storage 
devices in your computer. Ex.

This means that  SDA  partition 2  is mounted automatically during boot time at /  (root) folder 
having ext3 filesystem.
