Adjustments and Operation
Power Switch
The power switch is on the right side of the scooter footplate. Press to turn on – the motor
and rear wheels allow the scooter to move forward. Press again to turn off. It is
suggested to turn the scooter off when charging.
Speed Button
The speed button is on the righthand side of the handlebars – use four fingers to press.
Braking
The break lever is on the lefthand side of the handlebar, this will stop the rear wheel.
Press the break lever with four fingers, ensuring the thumb is placed on the actual
handlebar. This is a friction brake, the harder it is pressed, the stronger the break will be
on the rear wheel. This break has a micro device, which will deactivate the motor power
simultaneously.
Range and Speed
A fully charged scooter will cover approximately 12km/h on level ground with a 100kg
rider. The range is about 8-10km (up to 25-30minutes) in ideal conditions. Please note,
these figures are estimates only and could vary.
Steering Adjustment Nuts
Regularly check the steering for looseness. Adjust the tightness by turning the round nut
clockwise and locking the hex nut.
Charging
When shipped, the batteries are fully charged. Charging the batteries after every use is
recommended. For extended battery life, avoid discharging batteries before they are
completely recharged. When the scooter starts to slow down on level ground, it is time to
recharge. Do not delay recharging your scooter.
Charging Procedure
- Locate the charge socket under the scooter, then plug the charger into the port.
- Plug the charger into the standard 100-240Volt electrical outlet (fig.4). Charging
temperature is between 10-35 C .
°
- When fully charged, a green light will appear on the charger.
