Record a voice note
You can create a stand-alone recording (voice note) or add a recording to a note.
How to create a voice note
1. Tap
Start > Programs > Notes
.
2. You can do one of the following:
• You can record from the note list to create a stand-alone recording.
• You can add a recording to a new or existing note.
3. Tap
Menu > View Recording Toolbar
to see the Recording toolbar.
4. To begin recording, tap the
Record
icon ( ).
5. Hold your device’s microphone near source of sound.
6. When you finish, tap the
Stop
icon ( ).
•
When you create a stand-alone recording, the recording file appears in the
note list.
• When you record in an open note,
icon appears in the note.
