2.3.1 Personal Protection
WARNING
Do not work under the
liftgate
while
it
is
suspended from the lifting
device. Failure of the lifting device could cause
serious crushing injuries. Do not remove the lifting
device until the liftgate is securely tack welded onto
the truck frame.
CAUTION
When installing or operating this unit, wear appropriate
personal protective equipment. This list may include,
but is not limited to:
• A hard hat.
• Protective shoes with slip resistant soles.
• Protective goggles, glasses, or face shield.
• Protective clothing.
