Before first use

Unpack the box with care, keeping all the packaging materials until you are
satisfied everything is present and in working order.

Before using the appliance for the first time please clean the heating jug and the
accessories, as described under the “Cleaning and Care” section of this manual.
Choosing your whisk
The milk frother includes two different whisks. The functions of these whisks is to
choose between the option of frothing milk and the other for heating milk.
•
The milk frothing whisk (9) includes a plastic housing with a metal spiral ring. Use
this to create frothed milk for beverages such as cappuccino and latte macchiato.
•
The milk heating whisk (10) is slightly smaller and does not include a metal spiral
ring. Use this whisk to create heated milk for beverages such as a hot chocolate
and caffè latte.
