Brighnless adjustment
The brightness of the activated color can be adjusted by briefly pressing button 3. With each
actuation the light gets brighter until the boost mode is reached. Here the brightness of the white
LED is 160 lumens. If key 3 is subsequently pressed the light intensity decreases with each
actuation until the lowest brightness-level is reached.
The boost mode remains on for a maximum of 1 minute. If it is not switched off within this
period, the lamp automatically switches to the next lower setting. The boostmode does not work
when the thermal camera is being used.
Except for the boost mode, the last selected brightness is saved and is already set the next time
the corresponding color is selected.
Flashing fuction
Each color can also be operated in one of the two flashing modes. These are activated by pres-
sing button 3 for at least 1 second:
- steadylight (standard)
- flashing
- SOS (lamp flashing in SOS Morse code ... _ _ _ ...)
Accessories
For the TILO, the range of accessories is constantly being expanded. We will be pleased to
inform you about the latest components.
Eyecup
The eyecup is certainly the most useful accessory for users who use the
device tactically or for hunting. Even the simple eyecup prevents the
leakage of stray light when the TILO is used as monocular. This means
that the user remains unseen even in the dark for wildlife and humans.
The eyecup is simply attached to the receptacle. Another positive side
effect of the eyepiece is that it provides additional protection against
the scratching of the eyepiece lens.
Shutter Eyecup
The shutter eyepiece is attached like the normal eyecup but is equipped
with a mechanism which causes an automatic closure of the eyepiece
when the TILO is removed or folded up. As a result, leakage of scattered
light is prevented even more reliably. However, the shutter eyecup is
significantly longer and less comfortable to wear.
