Self-Loading Trailer – Operator's Manual
33
Before moving or using the equipment, ensure that
it is correctly hitched to the tractor, that the safety
chains are attached securely, and that there is no
risk of the ring or pin falling out.
If not hitched properly, the equipment could come
loose while it is being transported or used. This
could injure the operator or other people, or
damage the tractor or equipment.
3.2 Connecting the hydraulic and electrical systems
In order to use the RBM self-loading trailer, the tractor must have:
l
Two, three or four (depending on the model, see Table 7) double-acting hydraulic valves (one
valve corresponds to one 1/2 in. valve female inlet and outlet);
l
One 12 V electrical power supply.

For optimal use of the RBM2000, one of the valves must have a detent for continuous pumping.
If the connections are reversed:
l
The equipment will not work (RBM2000);
l
The functions will be reversed (RBM1400 and
RBM2000S).
This could result in equipment failure!
Relieve the pressure in the tractor's hydraulic
system and ensure that the couplings are clean
before connecting them to the tractor. Dirt will
contaminate the hydraulic oil.
The recommended oil flow rate is 38 Lpm (10 US
gpm).
