Connecting the Power Cord

1. 

Make sure that the source voltage matches that on the input voltage on the power adapter.

Caution:

Incorrect voltage could cause damage to the printer and/or the power
adapter.

2. 

Make sure that the power switch is set to the Off, ”

O

”, position.

 

3. 

Connect the power supply plug to the power jack on the printer.

Note:   When plugging into the 

power

 jack, make sure that you avoid the 36 pin

parallel connector.

4. 

 Connect the other end of the power adapter to your AC source.
