Changing VCA Settings
The procedure for changing a setting on menu level 6 is the same for all settings. The procedure explains how to change VCA
configuration settings using the Voice Message Playback Volume setting as an example.
NOTE:
The Key Lock input must be asserted in order for any settings to be changed.
1
Go to the setting you wish to change. For this example the Voice Message
Playback Volume will be changed from 5 to 7.
2
Press the
key to enter the setting edit mode. The second line of the
display will display the text:
<- ent -> [esc]
The value that appears in the
[ ]
can now be changed. Pressing the
key will take the display out of the setting edit mode and any changes will not be
saved.
3
Use the
keys to change the value as required.
4
Press the
key again to save the setting. The second line of the display
will show:
Saving Value ->->->->
for a brief moment while the setting is saved.
5
Once the new value has been saved the display will go return to its normal state.
