5.5 NDIR ZERO and SPAN ADJUSTMENT
The NDIR detector requires both the zero and span adjustment to be carried out consecutively, therefore
the user interface will be structured slightly differently.
1. Access the GG2 maintenance menu via the display UI using the magnetic calibration tool. Refer
to Section 6.1 for an overview of navigating the user interface and the menu structure.

Access the “GAS CALIBRATION” menu. Refer to Figure 15.
3.
Access the “SCALING ADJUSTMENT” menu.

4. If the process is interrupted, the following warning will be displayed and the adjustment will need
to be restarted.

5. Apply zero gas and the GG2 Calibration Cup.

6. It is recommended to apply gas for 180 seconds prior to adjustment. Once the reading is stable
press the keypad enter button to save the zero adjustment.
