Vibration hazard
Whole-body vibrations
The acceleration data given below for the three directions were measured in
accordance with Directive 2002/44/EC of the European Parliament and
Council. According to this directive the following shall be taken into
consideration for risk assessment:
•
Extent, type and duration of exposition as well as limit values
•
All impacts on the health and safety of the roller driver
•
Information provided by the roller manufacturer
The following represent typical ground compaction activities with and without
vibration. The impact duration shall be taken into consideration when
calculating the daily exposition.
