Description
Wiegand Out
Used for connecting attendance device with 3rd
party entry systems. Two options are available:
WG26 or WG34.
Bell Delay
Sets the duration of Bell. Device (seconds). Range
(0-10).
Daylight
Savings Time
This function is used for automatically adding or
subtracting 1 hour, when daylight savings time
begins and ends.
Menu Mode
Two menu modes are supported in the device:
"No Menu" and "Punch Menu". If set to "No
Menu", then user after being validated will not be
prompted to select any action. If set to "Punch
Menu", then user after being validated will be
prompted to select one of the eight available
actions.
Device ID
Default Value: 1.
Baud Rate
The default baud rate is 38400. The baud rate
refers to the speed of the data. The higher the
value and the faster the speed, the shorter a
connection distance needs to be. The lower the
value and the slower the speed, the greater the
distance over which a connection can be made.
The default value is recommended.
Port Number
Default Value: 5005. The port number refers to the
outlet that the computer uses to communicate
with the device. This value needs to be identical to
that used in the attendance software.
Password
Default Value: 0. This password can be set to
enhance security. The password in the device
needs to be identical to the password in the
attendance software.
