Thank you for choosing the AMC100 charger from Amewi. This product is a fast charger with a powerful microprocessor
and specialised operating software. Please read this instruction manual completely and carefully before operating the
product, as it contains information on operation and safety.
WARNING AND SAFETY NOTES

Always keep the charger away from children and pets.
x
Never leave the charger unattended while charging or discharging.
x
When leaving the unit, disconnect the battery to avoid unexpected danger or damage.
x
Make sure that the charger's programme and settings match the battery. otherwise, the battery will be
damaged, and a dangerous situation may occur, especially with lithium batteries, which may cause a fire.
x
Do not disassemble the charger.
x
Do not use the charger or a battery on a combustible surface or near a combustible material.
x
Do not charge or discharge batteries on a carpet, messy workbench, paper, plastic, vinyl, leather or wood, in an
RC model or in a vehicle.
x
Never block the air intake vents or use the unit in a cold or hot environment. If you use the unit in such an
environment, the internal thermal protection may cause abnormal charging/discharging, which may be
dangerous.
x
Do not allow water, moisture, metal wires or other conductive material to enter the charger. Never charge or
discharge batteries that show signs of leakage, expansion or swelling. Also, do not charge batteries with
external damage, colour changes or deformation.
x
Do not attempt to charge "non-rechargeable" dry cells.
x
Do not exceed the charging speeds recommended by the battery manufacturer.
Please be sure to note the following points before you start charging

Have you selected the correct programme for the type of battery you want to charge?

Have you set a suitable current for charging or discharging?
x
Have you checked the battery voltage? Lithium batteries can be connected in parallel and in series, i.e. a 2-cell
battery can have 3.7 V (parallel) or 7.4 V (in series).
x
Have you checked that all connections are tight and secure? Make sure that there are no broken contacts at any
point in the circuit.
