Resetting the Power Supply
The reset is used to clear the parameters to the factory default values.
Soft Reset
The soft reset is used to set the parameters (see
Table 3-9
) to the default
values, but it does not reset the calibration constants
To perform a soft reset:
1.
Turn the power supply to Off then On.
When the unit is powering on,
is displayed on the
output voltage and current displays.
2.
Press the key combination of both OUTPUT ENABLE Main
button and OUTPUT ENABLE Aux button and hold
continuously for 3 seconds in order to execute.
If the flash fail alarm triggers, it is also possible to reset the power
supply. The front panel should display
.
3.
Once a reset has been triggered, the output voltage display
shows
for 1 second.
The model number will be displayed for 1 second and then return
to normal mode.
After executing a reset, the power supply's settings are restored to the
default settings but retain the calibration data. Table 3-9 lists the default
settings.
