Internal Timing
The analyzer operates in two timing modes. The normal mode consists of short
intervals of sample and reference gas. The cell saver mode consists of an intermit-
tent short flow of sample and a longer flow of dry reference gas.
If the analyzer detects abnormal degradation of sensor proformance over time in the
normal mode, the analyzer will automatically switch to cell savor mode. Once the
analyzer switches to cell savor mode, it will not switch back on its own.
The sensor saver mode extents the life of the sensor, but provides slower response
time. The analyzer updates every 2.5 minutes instead of 1 minute; however, the ana-
lyzer still responds within specifications. Refer to analyzer specifications on page 2-1.
