
To operate a System Tour from a keyboard :
1. Select (Call) the monitor to run a tour on.
2. Enter a System Tour number (1-64) on the keypad.
3. Press the RUN key.
4. Press the ACK key within three seconds.
The keyboard HOLD is used to stop (Hold) the tour on the
current camera. When a tour is on Hold, press the RUN key to
continue the tour. See page 2-4 for tour operating procedures.
The keyboard NEXT key can be used to set the direction of a
tour. To set the direction of the tour, enter the following key
combinations:
1-NEXT - Sets a tour in forward order.
2-NEXT - Sets a tour in reverse order.
NEXT - Press this key to advance the tour one step.
Note: When running a tour in the forward order, an “F” is
displayed on the screen. Conversely, when running a tour
in the reverse order, an “R” is displayed on the screen.
When running in reverse, the Connect Next tour linking
may not operate as expected (see CN, page 4-7).
To automatically run a System Tour based on time and day of
the week, refer to the SET EVENT TIMERS menu, page 4-10.
PROGRAMMING A SYSTEM TOUR
To select a System Tour for programming:
1. Move the cursor to the TOUR number line of the Set
System Tours menu.
2. Enter the desired tour number (1-64) on the keypad.
3. Press the ACK key.
See page 4-3 for cursor movement instructions.

1. Position the cursor to the CAM column and desired ENT
number line.
2. Enter a camera number on the keypad and press the ACK
key. The camera number will appear in the CAM column.

DWL (Dwell Time)
To set a dwell time for a camera in a tour:
1. Position the cursor to the DWL column and desired ENT
number line.
2. Enter the desired dwell time (from 1 to 60 seconds in one
second increments). If 61 is entered, the dwell time is set to
a hold condition for the particular camera.
3. Press the ACK key. The dwell time will appear under the
DWL heading.
