17.3 Reflective Glass Installation
The following steps highlight the procedure for installing Eternal Flame Reflective Ceramic Glass liner. Handle the panels with
care. Inspect the panels to ensure that no damage has occurred inside the package. Please report any damage immediately to
your Authorized Ambiance Dealer. Be sure there are no fingerprints left on the glass panels during install or when cleaning as high
temperatures can bake these prints on permanently.
Before you begin:
• Ensure the gas supply is turned OFF and disconnect the power supply
•
Remove barrier screen (see
Section 14.0
)
•
Remove Glass Door (see
Section 15.0
)
•
Remove the Burner Media (if installed, see
Section 18.0
)
•
Remove the Masking Plate (see
Section 17.1
)
Step 1:
Using the rearmost screws on each side of the burner,
secure the lower glass clips in place.
Step 2:
Carefully unpack the Lower Rear panel and place it in the
rear of the firebox. There is no separate clip to hold this panel in
place, it is held in place by the side panels. Do not let this panel
fall while you are placing a side panel to hold it.

Step 5:
To install the Baffle (top) panel begin by angling one side of the panel to
the top of one of the side panels. (Keep the panel to the front of the fireplace while
doing this.)
With the panel pushed tight to one side lift the opposite side and center it between
the side panels. Following the slope of the glass, slide the Baffle panel down to the
back of the fireplace.
The Upper Baffle panel will butt up against the Rear panel and be located correctly.
No clips are required to hold the Baffle panel in place
