5.8 Seed hopper and loading board
The roller tarpaulin (Fig. 44/1) protects the
contents of the seed hopper from water and dust.
The seed hopper is filled from the loading board,
on the back of the seed drill.

The charging sieve in the seed hopper serves as
a loading aid when filling manually. Foreign
objects in the seed can be sieved and easily
removed.
It is forbidden to step onto the sieve grid.
To set the low level sensor, the sieve grid can be
opened. The handle (Fig. 45/1) serves to open
and close the charging sieve.
The closed charging sieve is secured with a linch
pin.
