Starting AltusenVNC
AltusenVNC starts automatically the first time it is downloaded. If it is closed,
it can be started again by double-clicking the program icon on your desktop or
in the taskbar. If you installed AltusenVNC as an application, you can also do
the following to start it:
From the
Start
menu, select
Programs > AltusenVNC > AltusenVNC
. The
AltusenVNC icon will appear in the notification area of the taskbar indicating
that it is running and displaying your computer’s IP address.
If you installed AltusenVNC as a service, do the following to start it:
Restart the computer. After the computer restarts, AltusenVNC will run as a
service. The AltusenVNC icon will appear in the notification area of the
taskbar.
Closing AltusenVNC
To close AltusenVNC, click the AltusenVNC icon in the notification area of
the taskbar, and select
Exit
.
If you installed AltusenVNC as a service, the next time you reboot the
computer the AltusenVNC service will also start. To completely remove the
service and prevent AltusenVNC from starting the next time Windows is
booted, see
