With all the components now in place flip the gable end over so you now have the 
outside edge facing you.  Be careful doing this as some of the parts are not completely 
supported, it is a good idea to have a helper at this point.  Now using 25mm countersunk 
screws fix the purlings to the glazing bars as shown in diagram 11 and 12.  Make sure the 
head of the screws are below the level of the timber so that they don’t have any contact 
with the glass.
