Purpose: Describes various features of the P1250 and
1250T UPS's
.
NOTE: This UPS is available in P1250 and 1250T models. Most of the
information in this manual applies to both and it is called the “UPS.”
Where there are specific instructions for a particular model, the model
name is used.
1.3.1 Enclosure (Figure 1.1)
The electronics and batteries are protected from the weather by a two–piece type 3R
metal enclosure. To access the interior, unlock, lift up the front enclosure and move
it out of the way. A nylon rope and a grounding wire connecting the two halves are at
the bottom.
A lock at the bottom of the front enclosure prevents unauthorized personnel from
opening it. The keys are shipped in the mounting kit.
DANGER: When mounting the front enclosure onto the rear, take great care
that the front does not touch the battery terminals. A lethal shock can result.
