1. INTRODUCTION

Advanced Power Protection Technology

Alpha's Novus P1250 and 1250T Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) provides
continuous, conditioned, AC power. The enclosure protects it from the weather
for safe mounting for almost anyplace where power is needed.

Advanced Communications

An RS–232 port and control signal relay contacts provides remote supervision.

Advanced Battery Charging

Automatic self-testing tells the operator when the batteries need servicing.

Host and Pedestal Mountable for Easy Installation

The UPS mounts easily to a wall or host equipment or it can be floor mounted on
a pedestal (The pedestal mounting kit is ordered from Alpha Technologies).

1.1 The Alpha Advantage

Purpose: Describes the unpacking and inspection
instructions.

Carefully remove the UPS from its shipping container and inspect the contents. Make
sure the following items are included:

One Novus P1250 or 1250T Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).

One operator's manual.

One Host / Wall Mount installation kit and hardware.

Any other ordered options.
