Example 2: More than one Guppy PRO camera at full speed
Due to the fact that one Guppy PRO camera can, depending on its settings,
saturate a 32-bit PCI bus, you are advised to use either a PCI Express card and/
or multiple 64-bit PCI bus cards, if you want to use 2 or more Guppy PRO
cameras simultaneously (see the following table).
FireWire Plug & play capabilities
FireWire devices implement the ISO/IEC 13213 configuration ROM model for
device configuration and identification, to provide plug & play capability. All
FireWire devices are identified by an IEEE EUI-64 unique identifier (an
extension of the 48-bit Ethernet MAC address format) in addition to well-
known codes indicating the type of device and protocols it supports. For
