Section 5 Service Procedures
To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, explosion, serious injury or death:
• Disconnect electric power to the dryer(s) before servicing.
• Close gas shut-off valve to gas dryer(s) before servicing.
• Never start the dryer(s) with any guards/panels removed.
• Whenever ground wires are removed during servicing, these ground wires must be
reconnected to ensure that the dryer is properly grounded.

26. COIN DROP
a. Removal
(1.) Unlock control panel. See Figure 8A.
(2.) Pull top of control panel away from control
cabinet and lift up. See Figure 8B.
(3.) Remove control panel from control
(4.) Disconnect all wires from control panel
(5.) Remove ground clip holding ground wire
to control panel. See Figure 9.
NOTE: Refer to appropriate wiring diagram when
reconnecting wires.
(6.) Reach into control cabinet to feel position
of coin drop. Disconnect coin drop harness
at disconnect plug. See Figure 21.
(7.) Use a 3/8 inch square drive 7/16" socket
with No. 310P4 1/4 inch Ratchet Extension
Tool to remove two locknuts holding coin
drop to front of control cabinet. See
Figure 22.
NOTE: A 3/8 inch square drive socket, size 7/16",
fits over the end of the 310P4 extension tool. A 1/4
inch ratchet fits in the other end.
