SECTION 1
SAFETY
• ALWAYS recharge the battery in a well-ventilated environment to avoid the risk of a dangerous concentration of com -
bustible gases.
• If the battery liquid (dilute sulfuric acid) comes into contact with
clothing or skin, rinse skin or clothing immediately with plenty of water.
• If the battery liquid (dilute sulfuric acid) comes into contact with eyes, rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water and
contact the nearest doctor or hospital to seek medical attention.
• ALWAYS disconnect the negative battery terminal before performing service on the equipment.
• ALWAYS keep battery cables in good working condition. Repair or replace all worn cables.
• Side slope operation is not permitted.
• Walk around the riding trowel before starting it to see if any items are worn, damaged, leaking, etc. that may make the
riding trowel dangerous to operate.
• Stop and inspect the equipment if you strike an object. If necessary, make repairs before restarting.
• ALWAYS check that all controls are functioning properly immediately after start-up!
