SECTION 3 IMAGE SETTINGS

3. Configure the following parameters:

Emissivity

: Set the emissivity of your target. The emissivity of each object is different. Refer to “APPENDIX D

Thermal Emissivity Chart” on page 95.

Distance

(m): The straight-line distance between the target and the device.

Pre-Alarm

: When the temperature of target exceeds the Pre-Alarm Threshold, and this status continues longer

than the Filtering Time, a Pre-Alarm condition is triggered.
Check the Pre-Alarm Output select box to link the pre-alarm status with a connected alarm device.

Alarm

: When the temperature of target exceeds the Alarm Threshold, and this status continues longer than the

Filtering Time, an Alarm condition is triggered.
Check the Alarm Output select box to link the alarm status with a connected alarm device.
