3  Dismantling/Assembly

3.2  Intermediate Service (IS), dismantling

b.

Fit the compressing tool by screwing the 
pillar of the tool into the threads of the 
distributor using the horizontal handle.

The control lever on the compressing tool 
should be in position 0.

c.

Turn the control lever to position 1 for 
compression.

Compress the disc stack by pumping the 
horizontal handle until the oil pressure is 
released through the relief valve.

d.

Fit the lock ring spanner and unscrew the 
large lock ring.
